Action – the fact or process of doing something, typically to achieve an aim.

What does taking ACTION mean to you?

That was the question I asked last Monday during our meeting.

I see article after article, email after email, with headlines and words encouraging action…but are we really following through?

Or,

Have we become complacent, again?

No, we cannot vote our way out of this.

No, we will never go back to the ‘normal’ we once knew.

No, they will never ‘give’ back the power we have let them take from us over the last year and a half.

We must remain vigilant. We must follow through with action.

Archuleta County Administrator Position

Over the past year we have asked our County Commissioners to act with integrity and to uphold their Constitutional Oath. On December 7, 2021, during their regular BOCC meeting, Mr. Brown and Mr. Schaaf motioned to move forward with the hiring process for Mr. Woodman. Mr. Maez was the only nay and requested the Board to reopen the recruiting process for another 30 days.

With the Board moving forward with Mr. Woodman as the new County Administrator, it shows they have no regard to act with integrity and to remove any possible conflict of interests.

How many of you were able to take the ACTION and email the County Commissioners, thanking Mr. Maez for taking a stand? An easy way to let our Commissioner know that we are watching and to also let Mr. Maez know that we supported him in that action.

Is This a Pandemic of Virology or Toxicology?

We must stop giving this scam a name. With all we know, with all the resources out there, we must call it for what it is – a respiratory illness with varying outcomes based on individuals health. Last newsletter I had included an article Diane Brewington, ND had written explaining the necessity of healing our body and how we can go about doing that. We must not overlook essential nutrients our bodies need.
