Affidavit

Affidavit – a sworn statement of fact (truth). The word is derived from the Medieval Latin word which means ‘a person declared upon oath’.

Yesterday we got right into the importance of filing an Affidavit. I hope you all have completed the first step of this process and have created your own Affidavit of Status. Jimmy went into detail about how to complete an Affidavit of Fact. I have attached a few examples for you to reference when you are completing your own.

When to complete an Affidavit: Anytime an unlawful act is committed against you. Some examples would be: Requiring you to wear a mask against your religious beliefs, health conditions, etc. in order to enjoy the same freedoms as other individuals. Requiring your business to enforce unlawful requirements upon its patrons. Requiring your child to wear a mask while in school, etc.

I completed an Affidavit when I was denied service at Natural Grocers in Durango because I would not dress like their employees or take their medical advice by putting a medical device over my two pathways of breathing. I completed it against Natural Grocers, the Officer who denied my right, the City who is responsible for training these officers, San Juan Basin Health and against Governor Polis.

Purpose of completing an Affidavit: To stop the government overreach and tyranny. Once an affidavit goes unanswered, the recipients now are witnesses in YOUR case for YOU! Failure to rebut your affidavit of fact is tacit agreement and stands as TRUTH and FACT in a court of law.

Durango Protests The Law Offices of Randy B. Corporon has sent out a letter to Dirk Nelson, Durango City Attorney, putting them on notice for their blatant threats and interference with our Constitutional Right to protest. We have not yet received a response from Mr. Nelson but we have been sending a copy to the Durango Herald, the Pagosa Sun, San Juan Basin and Chief Brammer. I encourage you all to write to the papers addressing the violations these so-called officials are committing against us. Affidavits are being filed as well going all the way up the chain to Governor Polis. Our Durango Friends are trying to get their group together too so if you have any friends near that area, get them in contact with Cam Formby (white_slumber@yahoo.com)! The People’s Rights Group – This is a group headed up by Jeff Maehr (Pagosa Springs) to unite neighbors to defend their families, faith, freedom and future. They just started meeting on Monday evenings, 7pm, at Restoration Church. They are also focused on the loss of rights we are experiencing, staying updated on current events and educating people on their rights. They are currently working on changing the Home Rule Charter here in Pagosa and other initiatives. If you are interested in more information regarding the Home Rule Initiative, give them a shout! Let’s support our friends as we need ALL HANDS ON DECK! TOGETHER is the only way that we will overcome this madness! https://www.peoplesrights.org/ Upcoming Council Seats - Start networking and creating a list of individuals that you would like to see replace a few of our Town Council Members (2022/2024 respectively). We need better leadership and need to start now. Richie Valdez - I have extended an invitation to Mr. Valdez to attend one of our meetings to give us an idea of what we are to expect from him this coming election year. His seat is up in 2022.

Town of Pagosa Springs Council Meeting

We asked them to go back to in person meetings during the last council meeting so they should be making their decision during this call. It is time to go back to in person meetings! Also, getting on those calls is so important even if you don’t make a public comment. They see how many people are dialed in, listening to them. We need all the attendees we can get!

Health Group – Email San Juan Basin, the Pagosa Medical Center, County Commissioners, Town Council etc. giving them data regarding covid numbers, the effects of these draconian orders, their violations, fraudulent vaccine info, etc. We must inundate them with the TRUTH!

Love to write? Consider submitting letters to the papers, sharing the truth about the numbers, prolonged mask use, detrimental effects and the corruption that we are seeing in order to keep the fear narrative alive.

Follow up with the Commissioners – We had introduced a Resolution similar to the one Monument County adopted to the BOCC. They have yet to add it as an agenda item to vote on. I have emailed Ronnie Maez who has yet to respond. Let’s follow up with our fellow Commissioner’s to step up and make this County a Sanctuary County against these tyrannical government orders. In 2019, the BOCC passed Amendment 2019-36 which is a 2^nd Amendment Preservation Act that allows Archuleta County to resist any action that would limit our 2^nd Amendment Right. They have been ignoring that while allowing the State and County officials to remove more of our Constitutional Rights by hiding behind these muzzles. This resolution would further protect our rights and they are required to uphold their oath of office and do whatever they can to fight for our rights. We need to demand their action on this.

Highway Signs - Highway signs are to alert drivers of road hazards, detours and construction - not individual health behaviors! Thank you to all who did email our Town Council. I have seen the responses and I do see that the messaging has increased. I am working on a response to the Town Attorney to address his copy/paste response to our original requests to remove these harmful messages. Keep a lookout for that!
